Support and Finances

We at First Fostering provide 1^st class support for our foster carers so that they are able to provide high quality placements. This includes:

- Access to a 24 hour support line run by qualified social workers

- Frequent visits and telephone calls from dedicated supervising social workers

- An excellent package of financial support recognising the skills and role of the foster carer. The weekly allowance per child is £390.25 which includes maintenance for the child and a professional fee reflecting the demanding task of fostering.

- Comprehensive training for foster carers

- Fostering Network membership
